"Our life, in fact, is a sacred miracle. We constantly forget this, occupied as we are with other matters. But fortunately our body never forgets. Our body never fails us, for it is, on its own, as it is, love itself. It is life itself, nature itself, flowing on in profound sanity and appreciation despite our human confusion."
Norman Fischer – Training in Compassion
UK Teacher - Lynne Moore
Lynne is one of the founder members of ‘Nothing Missing’ from when it began in 2012.
As a child Lynne found the world mysterious and magical with many different energies. She encountered yoga in her early twenties being drawn to philosophy and embodied practice. She subsequently taught yoga. Her three children became the heart of her practice from the late 1970s. She has run various relaxation and mindfulness groups and for many years led an adult college based educational programme for adults struggling to return to social situations after various life difficulties.
It took her a little while to recognise her own way-seeking mind and her love of humanity in all its ‘flawed abundance’. She has trained in person-centred counselling and met Flint through her training in the Hakomi method. She continues to love body- centred energy practices such as Tai Chi and Capacitar.
She started Nothing Extra in 2016 in her own home with the support of the other sanghas. She continues to offer small in-person group practice opportunities within her own locality and a weekly online session. She is one of the founder members of the Lojong practice group. Lynne was Head Student for ‘Just This’ 2021 – 2022.
She received lay entrustment in October 2026
Lynne loves the process of how each person meets their own suffering and unfolds their own embodiment of the dharma. Her vow is to walk beside them and ‘first do no harm’ simply to witness, encourage and share as we all move to live and be lived for the benefit of all beings.
